An original design by Jeff Dixon features a lone pine tree representing the rugged forests of the Algoma region. The three lower branches symbolize the three Great Lakes surrounding Sault Ste. Marie, blending nature, place, and heritage into a simple, elegant graphic.
Ice Dye Technique: Hoodie tied and scrunched, covered with ice, and dye is added on top. As the ice melts, it creates unique, organic patterns.
