Learning the Basics of Your New Digital or Mirrorless Camera
Are you an entry-level photographer who wants to learn how to use the full features of your new digital or mirrorless camera? Join our half-day (4 hour) workshop held at various outdoor locations in Sault Ste Marie such as Hiawatha, Bellevue Park, and Whitefish Island.
During the workshop, our experienced photography instructor will guide you through the basics of using your digital or mirrorless camera. You'll learn how to navigate through the menus and settings, adjust the exposure, focus, and white balance, and understand the different shooting modes and techniques.
Our instructor will provide personalized guidance and support to help you understand the features of your camera and improve your photography skills. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and get hands-on experience with your camera in a variety of outdoor settings.
To get the most out of the workshop, we recommend that you bring:
Your digital or mirrorless camera
The camera manual (if available)
A fully charged battery and spare battery
Memory card(s)
Comfortable shoes and clothing for outdoor conditions
A tripod
Filters (optional)
Snacks and water
As part of the workshop, you'll also receive exclusive access to our Photoshop basic editing videos. A critique of 2-3 images via video recording will also be included. This will help you understand how to edit your photos to achieve your desired results and receive valuable feedback on your images.
